Abstract

In view of the gravity of society's responsibility and its importance to the mentally retarded person, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the research on group community homes for the mentally retarded. Consideration will be given to the (1) types of group homes and their success, (2) financial benefits, (3) community response, and (4) selection and training of house-managers.
