Abstract

This case study is about Anthony, a hard working seven-year old boy, who has difficulties reading. Anthony lacks necessary fluency and comprehension skills. Anthony was given two pre-assessments that guided the intervention lessons, Rigby PM Benchmark Running Records and the Qualitative Reading Inventory-4. The intervention lessons focus on repeated reading to increase Anthony's fluency and story mapping to increase his comprehension. The post-assessment results show that Anthony's areas of growth are in his reading levels and comprehension.
