Abstract

This qualitative study examined the experience of novice registered nurses transitioning from school to practice. The Novice to Export theory provided a framework for analysis of the data obtained from participant's interviews. Participants in this study were 3 Registered Nurses with less than 1 year experience in a mentorship orientation at a large urban Midwestern hospital.
