Abstract

When is it decided that a child has a learning problem? Who is involved in making the decision? What role, if any, does the classroom teacher play in the decision-making process? Finally, what is the basis of that decision? These a re some of the basic questions that this paper was concerned with. The purpose of this paper was to review the research studies and related articles relative to the importance of the classroom teacher's role in identifying the learning disabled child at an early stage.
