Abstract

Researchers dealing with attention span deficits have attempted to define attention through physiological and behavioral observations. For the purpose of this paper, this review concentrated on the various definitions conceived through behavioral observations of the meaning of the term attention as it pertained to learning disabled children. Theories explaining the deficits and the behavioral characteristics noted in the classroom were also investigated.
