Abstract

It was the purpose of this paper to present similar behavioral characteristics of the emotionally disturbed and learning disabled adolescent in hopes that, with a better understanding of the ways in which these two disabilities overlap, the classroom teacher can plan a more accurate academic prescription for the student and will take into consideration the relationship between the child's emotions and his ability to learn.
