Abstract

There is a need for divergent thinking among educable mentally retarded in our society. rigid, structured thinking is being broadened to include and encourage divergent thinking. More research in this field is being done, with the slow-learner and retardate being aided by improved methods of training, habilitation and rehabilitation.
