Abstract

The specific objectives of this study were: 1) to determine the gradation of difficulty from one level of a preprimer to each subsequent level, of a given series; and, 2 ) to determine whether the vocabulary introduced in the preprimer has remained static or is changing to meet present day child vocabulary needs.
