Abstract

The general objective of this study was to survey the recent research studies on listening at the intermediate grade levels. The specific objectives were: 1) to review reported correlations between listening and reading 2) to note the effects of instruction in listening on other areas 3) to note the reported correlations between listening and 4) to note the effects of instruction in listening on reading comprehension.
