Abstract

The basic premise of this paper is to relate a brief history of a high school Science Fiction program from its inception to the present, and to present materials which will, hopefully, provide the reader with a more profound outlook and understanding of the content of a progressive Science Fiction program in high school. It is hoped that the paper will also provide input for the beginning teacher of a high school class in a world that is constantly in a state of flux--the world of Science Fiction.
