Abstract

Research studies have shown that children that have had kindergarten experience are more ready for first grade reading in most instances than those who have not had the privilege of preschooling. 2 Using this idea as a base the -writer wondered if the experience of additional preschooling would have an effect on the results of a reading readiness test recognizing that readiness cannot be evaluated only through this medium.
