Abstract

The problem of this study is to determine if significant relationships may exist between intelligence scores and reading achievement, which may help in designating a valid interpretation, of intelligence test scores when used with children with varying degrees. of reading ability. This research was made through the comparison of verbal, nonverbal and total intelligence score with reading at both the fourth and sixth grade level.
