Behavior modification techniques have been used successfully in many areas to change inappropriate behaviors. The purpose of this research was to see if these behavioral principles can be applied successfully in the field of learning disabilities. The field of learning disabilities is very concerned with changing inappropriate behaviors that interfere with the learning process. Therefore, this paper attempted to find out through research done in this area which behavioral techniques are applicable with learning disabled children and also what children benefit most from behavior modification. Available research on this subject was limited since the field of learning disabilities is relatively new to education. Research covered was from 1967 to present.
