Children with disabilities--Remediation; Child development--Testing

The purpose of this research paper was to show that prescriptive teaching emanates from the information gathered in the diagnosis of the child. It was also intended to indicate that remediation is sometimes brought about by contributions of allied disciplines and through the use of various modalities and techniques. The research was concerned with all phases of the allied fields, modalities, and techniques but this paper was restricted to those most commonly utilized in reading clinics.
